Most camera phones will have a video recording function. The common icon for a video feature on your phone is a video camera or a film strip. If you’re still not sure, it’s best to check with your manufacturer. ↵
As a general rule, the better the camera on your phone, the better the quality of the video. But don’t worry too much. On the internet, people are used to viewing videos that might look out of place on the TV. In some ways, an honest, real video shot from a mobile phone is as good as a polished, edited video.
You may also find in the settings area of your phone that you can select from a range of qualities your footage is filmed in. In the case of phones, it’s probably a case of the higher quality, the better for initial capture of images.
You may need extra memory if you are storing lots of videos on your phone. As standard, phones tend to come with a limited memory for pictures and videos but you can always buy larger memory cards, like you can with a digital camera.↵
There are two ways to get your video off your phone:
a) You can upload it directly to vzaar from your mobile. b) You can copy the video file to your computer via bluetooth or a USB cable that probably came with it, and upload it normally from there. ↵
Most camera phones now have internet capabilities. To upload your video to vzaar is simple.
Firstly you will have to go (only once) to “My vzaar” > “My Settings” once you are logged into vzaar. Here you set up a PIN number which you will need when you use your mobile to upload your video.
Once you have made your video and saved it on your mobile phone, connect to the internet and go to www.m.vzaar.com or m.vzaar.com. You will be prompted to log in using your eBay user ID and vzaar PIN that you set up previously.
You can then browse for the video file you have saved on your phone, select it and press upload. And that’s it.
Next time you log on to vzaar, the videos you have uploaded from your mobile can be found in your “My Videos” ready for you to add to your eBay listings. ↵
Many mobile phones use a memory card or memory stick in the same way as normal cameras. If you stick this into a card reader you will be able to easily copy the files off and upload them. If there is no memory card, you should have got a cable and some software when you bought your phone that should allow you to do this. Bluetooth phones should also have a feature that allows you to send files to a bluetooth enabled computer. ↵
vzaar charges you nothing for uploading your videos via your phone, however you should know that using the internet from your phone can be expensive, depending on your service plan. If you intend to upload lots of videos form your mobile phone, you may want to talk to your network service provider about getting a good deal to reduce the cost of using the internet via your phone. ↵
The length of the video allowed also depends on the package that you have chosen. The Free package allows videos of up to 2 minutes. The Max package allows videos of up to 10 minutes long..
If you are having problems uploading your videos let us know and we'll look into it for you.↵
